Pastor Dan grew up in central New York living and working on a dairy farm. He attended Practical Bible College and is a graduate of  Appalachian Bible college. He is also a student of the Greek language. Dan has worked in missionary work and church revitalization. He has pastored Cornerstone Baptist Church of Jay, ME since 1996.

Dan and Betsy have been married since 1985, and according to one son who shall remain anonymous, have  raised three angelic children. The Delavans enjoy their five grand children, and have a passion for local church ministry.
