Mark and his wife Debbie met in Clearwater, Florida where they married 30 years ago. Debbie earned her BS in Elementary Education from Clearwater Christian College. They have 5 children: Susan, Robin, Jillian, Laura, and Brian. The two older girls are both RN's (Susan works at a hospital outside Milwaukee and Robin is an ER nurse at Baltimore's Mt. Sinai Hospital). The twins are students at Marantha Baptist University, and Brian is a sophomore in high school.

Mark was called in March 2022 as pastor of First Baptist Church of Cincinnatus, NY after completing 19 years as senior pastor at Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Elmira, NY. Mark serves as the Executive Director of Shepherds' Haven with a very rich heritage.
